Chicken Drumstick

Drumsticks qualify as a chicken’s dark meat and are similar, in many ways, to a dark horse. This is because the transference of their nutritional benefits depends very much upon the way you prepare them.

Are they rich in iron, protein, zinc, minerals, amino acids, and countless vitamins? The answer’s a resounding yes.

Are these nutrients transferred to the consumer if the sticks are coated with batter, and sautéed with the skins on? This time, we’ll have to go with a no.

Before putting your battered drumsticks in a deep pan filled with oil, keep in mind that crispy fried chicken can just as easily be achieved with baking or air-frying.

Treat yourself to a generous roast dinner, or throw a cracker barrel of a party with enough drumsticks to go around, thanks to yours truly: Meat to Door.
